Creative Media Production & Technology - Level 3 Extended Diploma
ADAM BIRKETT MEDIA STUDENT
I am currently a media/film production student at Blackpool School of Arts, where I have just started my second year on level 3 UAL Media/Film Production course, which previously in my first year I was awarded a merit for my work. I have worked on projects such as; Animation, Short Film, Documentary, News Radio Package, Music VideoProduction, Interactive Website Building. I am proficient in software such as Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Abode software which I have used to produce many of my projects.
I have created and used different editing techniques to improve my videos and photos. With these skills I can create a vast amount of content and create a sizeable number of media to highlight my skills. I am interested in learning more about editing techniques and using different software. I have done some editing in the past and have enjoyed learning how to create and edit and when working on my projects in the future I would like to incorporate more of the techniques.
I love movies but I have always had a spot for Star Wars and Marvel. I have some of my favorite memories from them and inspired me to pursue a career in media production. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of my obsessions as all the different movies bring a new story which adds up to create a bigger story or one that will continue through the other movies. Star Wars is a franchise I have watched since I was young and is still a part of it today as there is new content being released all the time. There is also content released on Xbox which I loved to play with my friends. Lego has also been a part of my life and still is as I build bigger sets to explore what I can build and create. I have also looked at Lego as an escape from the world where I can explore my vision of what I want to build.
