Documentary Storyboard

Scene 1

In this first scene I am on a bridge looking over a motorway where I was talking about Insulate Britain and about how they have com across to the nation and media and how they are protesting to the government about the insulation issue.

Scene 2

I start to show footage of the group and what they have been doing and what the documentary is about and then i want to show what happens in the news and how they have reacted as well as the public and the protesters them self.

Scene 3

I will show multiple news broadcasters talking about Insulate Britain and all saying there name too show that they are spread across the news of the day as they are becoming a big issue to the public and what has happened with the group. Even though this is in london and the south of the country everyone had an opinion.

Scene 4

one of the first clips i will show will be of a women trying to get her son to school but she is stop by the protests and starts to thrent the activists but then gets into her car and proceeds to try and run over the people with her car ingering them as she does.

Scene 5

In this scene i will be looking at the footage and reviewing what has happened i will explain the reason they think this is right and then I will carry on to then introducing the representative from insulate Britain Gabriella Ditton who is a supporter of the campaign.

Scene 6

With the interview with Gabriella we talk about a number of things that I get an answer for on each question that is worth including but I am only able to use so much of it as I don't want the video to be to long. Talking to Gabriella I figured I wanted to include some stuff he was talking about and when I do my other interviews I what to show that I will include other peoples views on the same questions. I want to show to different sides of a story like when I'm using the footage in my edit I want to have answers from two different sides of an opinion so its not all biased and based on one persons opinion only all the time this is why I have multiple different people from different back grounds answering questions about the situation.

Scene 7

During my interview with Brad i want to see what he thinks of the groups ill show video content over the interview of relate able footage of the stuff he will be talking about as well as showing imainges for context and examples.

Scene 8

I will interview my Brother as he is a construction worker who drives down motorways for a living to different areas of work and he is made to use the motorways day to day so I will be collecting information on what its like for him if the were to have these protest going on where he works.

Scene 9

During looking at my research i found out alot of the protesters were doing this for young people and so i thought i would like to get an opinion of a young person and what they think of the protests going on and if they think it is the right way they should be fighting.

Scene 10

In my research on Insulate Britain they were very happy to show the times they have helped ambulances through there blockades so i want to show what they think they are doing and then video of what they actually are when they are stopping them when people have heart attacks and so on.

Scene 11

In my interviews I have planned to talk to my mother who I know has given me a non biased view my hole life so I want to see what she thinks of insulate Britain and if the government or the campaign could handle it differently towards the public.

Scene 12

At the end of the documentary I will have shots of motorways being busy and include a voice-over of what a summary of the video is as well as the peoples opinions in the video so I can give the audience an opinion of the situation.

Scene 13

when I finish I will include the ending sequence where I will credit and thank the people that helped me in the video and production of the documentary. I will have this with a title card fashion ending the same as I started the documentary.

Insul-eight is an insulation company based in the Blackpool area, I emailed them asking if i could come to there company and ask them a few questions about the Insulate Britain protests. I was looking forward to getting a interview with this company as they were from a point of view I do not have in my documentary. However they did not response so I could not go ahead with any interview planning with them.
