-ABOUT ME
I am currently a media film production student and have worked on projects using animation techniques, short film, factual, music video production, and interactive website building.
I am proficient in software such as Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Abode software which I have used to make a documentary. I have also constructed different foleys. I have created and used different editing techniques to improve my videos and photos. With these skills, I can create a vast amount of content and create a sizeable number of media to highlight my skills. I am interested in learning more about editing techniques and using different software. I have done some editing in the past and have enjoyed learning how to create and edit and when working on my projects in the future I would like to incorporate more of the techniques.

Café Waiter | The Pavilion, Ashton Gardens, St Annes.

I work in all areas of the café helping with orders, payments, preparing desserts and ice creams, and serving food and drinks. I work within a team, prioritise good customer service, help create a good atmosphere for customers to enjoy and ensure all café high standards are maintained. When I have been working in the café, I have taken the tasks and responsibilities from my manager and made the best effort I could, having stayed extra hours to help with the business and showed I am reliable and conscientious. Because I have proved I am a hard worker, they have kept me on after the summer period.
Music Assistant | Blackpool Music Service
24TH-28TH JUNE 2019 (school placement)
This included working with the Music Director, key employees, helping prepare and co-deliver presentations in Primary Schools and setting up events for concerts. During this week's work, I also helped with many important tasks essential to the Music Service, eg edited music scores for bands, checked and cataloguing instruments, preparing instruments for delivery to schools and general office administrative work. This experience gave me valuable insight into music education and helped my college work where I work with sound and audio.

Production/Editor Assistant | AWOL Media
10TH JAN – 7TH APR 2022 (College Work Placement)
This was a 315-hour placement at a media company, and I worked with AWOL Media. Whistle I was there I learnt how they worked and how they make media content for their clients. When I was there, I helped edit and make videos with them, they show me how to use aftereffects and a lot of the things in premier pro that I did not know. I worked with photoshop and making g animations as well as helping make a video for someone that wanted to have content for their YouTube channel whistle, I used aftereffects to track objects and apply effects on to the video. When I was there, I went out to several shoots that I was involved with, helped film, and set up the shoots that they were on and then I also helped set up edits and start making sure they had everything ready. I helped with the Manchester marathon where I was a runner for the day where I went to serval various locations and took over the photographers, gave them batteries and SD cards, uploading the photos for them and making sure they were ok with the day and did not have any issues with the day.

-ACTIVITIES
I am a senior member of Blackpool Youth Concert Band which plays the music of various genres, including classical and contemporary. I have been part of this band for 8 years; they have helped me progress in my music career and given me many opportunities including touring across Europe to places like; Spain, Germany, Austria and even performing at Disneyland in Paris. These performances have given me great experiences and confidence. I am the lead clarinet player for the band and help mentor younger members. I also play in the Intermediate Concert Band where I help less experienced members understand the difference between playing in a band rather than individually and helping them to grow as a musician. I coach and support new members to help them fit in and encourage them during performances.
I am also a senior member of Blackpool Explorers. I have been a member of Scouting since I was 6 years old. This has taught me valuable life skills, given me the opportunity to take part in many outdoor activities and camping, as well as the importance of working as a team and allowed me to build strong friendships. I have also been a member of the Scout Council, worked in the media team and currently take a lead role in organizing activities for weekly Explorer meetings. This involves gathering ideas from the members and liaising with the leaders to ensure the proposed activities are viable and safe. I take all the necessary equipment and run the activities. I have also made and published a documentary about how Scouting has adapted during the pandemic and continued to offer members a fun experience that gives us skills for life.
