1-5-10 Year Plan

1 Year

I am working to complete my college course and get the grade I need to get to go to university, also so I can reach my goal for getting a distinction as I got a merit last year and know I can do better. I need to learn how to make my FMP at the end of the year as best as I can, so I want to have learnt the skills to make the best of what I have. Throughout the course I would also want to learn all the topics the best I can, so I become knowledgeable in the subjects we do. I need to start planning out the work I must do so I can get everything done on time and get all my work as good as it can be, so I want to be able to plan out what I do by the end of the year and make the best decisions for my education. I need to improve on managing my time as I do not allow enough time for myself to work on my work, being dyslexic, I need to give myself the best opportunities as I struggle to be better than everyone else. I want to be in the position where I can be able to pick between university or media work where I can go into a job straight away after college. I want to increase the work I do by making it more detailed and making my projects some of my best work so far, as I learn more and improve on my work. I want to be able to present my work to an audience and get valuable feedback from my work which I can be proud of to share with people. I want to have made my own projects and created films and videos outside of college to put on a show reel to increase my experience and ideas. 

5 Year

I want to have gotten a job after college or completed university and got a degree in my subject. I want to also go on to further into employment with a media company where I can learn more and gain more experience on projects that I create, and I can put on my portfolio/show reel. I would also like to have the ability to go out to different companies and show my skill at making media to see if they want a promotional video being made for them and add that to my experience so other companies can reach out to me. This will be more of a side job to increase my experience more, as well I effective way to get my name out there as a filmmaker and earn money. I would like to work on production and become part of a team that creates useful content. I would like to be part of television production company to get me started in the television industry. However, I think I should try and get in a production company that can point me on to different paths and let me make their ideas for them. As well as being part of a production company, I want to do promotional videos for companies, business, and adverts for them as well. I am open to taking photos of people so I could go to a housing agent to see if they want photos and pictures of their houses as well as videos for their house viewing.  

10 Year

I want to be in a job where I am in a television production company and then also have the opportunities to make better media in company. I want to have moved into a house where I can live with Amelia my girlfriend where we can live somewhere nice where I can have my own studio to make my own content for people. I also want to be a part of somewhere they will give me the change to be part of a media company that produces films and tv series so am able go further in live and even start trying to start getting a higher role in the media industry. Having the options to try and go for when I'm older to go in a senior role will be an aspiration for me so I was not to make sure that I have gained the amount of experience that I need to have the job I want in life as I which to be in the place where I can go for a director or produce job of my own projects to see my projects and get better at my work.
